How Long Have You Called North Carolina Home?
Since 2012
If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?
I’d travel the world. I’d start by doing the big vacations that I’d never have the time or money for: going to Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam. I’d also love to tour South America and see the historic sites, as well as journeying through Europe and seeing as many countries as possible. With unlimited time and money, I’d love to see the north and south poles too!
What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?
My favorite right now is Bartaco in North Hills. It’s great for lunch, dinner, drinks… you can’t go wrong.
How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?
Passionate. I dive headfirst into anything I do, and I put my whole heart and soul into it. I was raised with the mindset that I always try my best, and even if I fail, I can always say I did my best – and I keep that mindset with me wherever I go.
Asheville or Wilmington?
Both are great, but if I had to choose, I’d say maybe Wilmington. I like being around the beach and listening to the waves – it’s so relaxing. Though, if I’m choosing based on food and drink, probably Asheville. The food scene is great and there are so many amazing local breweries out there.
What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?
I’m passionate about animal and human rights. I was a volunteer for Purr Partners of NC for several years and I was active in the Project Racing Home greyhound adoption rescue while my pup was around. Two great organizations that do a lot for local pets.
Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?
My wife, Sherry, inspires me every day to be myself as best as I can and always makes me laugh. My dad, Bill, who guides me with his wisdom and always makes me think.
