Meet Keith Oppenheimer

Keith Oppenheimer works with buyers in the Raleigh area to help them make well-informed real estate decisions. As a Broker and REALTOR® with The Jim Allen Group, and with experience in land development, Keith helps buyers evaluate raw land and new construction opportunities with clarity and care.

Experience & Expertise

Keith’s path to real estate was shaped by a career spent building financial models, automating processes, and helping people work through complex information. That background naturally led him to a buyer-focused approach, particularly when it comes to land and new construction.

Before becoming a broker, Keith worked extensively in financial analysis and modeling—evaluating risk, forecasting outcomes, and pressure-testing assumptions prior to decision-making. In real estate, that experience supports his ability to help buyers look beyond the surface and better understand how a property, lot, or build fits their goals over time.

Keith also brings hands-on experience from land development projects, giving him firsthand insight into site considerations, timelines, options, and trade-offs commonly encountered in land and new construction purchases. His role is to help buyers ask informed questions and navigate the process with confidence.

Keith holds an MBA in Finance and an Advanced Financial Modeling Certification. He specializes in new construction, rural land purchases, and working with investors, with particular experience in Franklin and Eastern Wake County, as well as Western North Carolina counties including Caldwell, Watauga, Ashe, and Alleghany.

Personal Connection & Roots

Keith relocated to Raleigh in 2021 after spending much of his life in rural New Jersey. As a former firefighter, captain, and incident commander, he values service, preparation, and community involvement, including his work with Trout Unlimited.

Outside of work, Keith spends as much time as he can outdoors. He’s drawn to the mountains, quiet trails, and the stillness that comes with being surrounded by nature. Being there is how he resets, gains perspective, and recharges—reminding him what matters beyond the day-to-day.
