What Does Being a Part of The Jim Allen Group Mean to You?
I enjoy being apart of The Jim Allen Group because I have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most driven and top-performing agents in the Triangle. The competitive atmosphere inspires me to push myself further and strive for excellence. Even though I am part of the marketing department, I am excited by the chance to create impactful content and shape our brand’s identity, which truly fuels my passion for marketing.
How Long Have You Called North Carolina Home?
I moved to NC in grade school, so 16 years, which is crazy to think about! Time moves so quickly!
If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?
Without a doubt, I would focus on growing Young and Stamped, the social events and group travel company I founded for young adults. Since I began traveling at 16, I’ve explored four out of seven continents and countless countries. I started Young and Stamped during my senior year of college after noticing a lack of community among young travelers. Many people want to explore the world but often lack the knowledge, resources, and support to do so. I organize vacations for young individuals who share a passion for travel, and with unlimited time and resources, I would aim to expand our reach and plan even more group trips around the globe!
What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?
I highly recommend Tavern Agora, a Mediterranean restaurant located In Downtown Raleigh. Their lamb chops are exceptional, and the chicken penne pasta dish is absolutely delightful! To continue the evening, I enjoy bar hopping around Glenwood South or the Warehouse District. Nomad on Glenwood South has THE best Expresso Martni’s!
How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?
Gosh, this is hard…hmmm..Vivacious! I’m lively, full of energy, hard-working, and super friendly!
Asheville or Wilmington?
I think Asheville wins this one! Only because i’m still slowly starting to actually enjoy the beach… sand is SO annoying! The mountains are gorgeous, and there are so many outdoor activities to do, like hiking, rafting, and skiing, that’s more my vibe!
What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?
As a person of color, I feel a strong responsibility to advocate for minorities, which is why I passionately support the Black Lives Matter movement. This organization not only addresses systemic racism but also empowers marginalized voices and promotes social justice!
Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?
Without a doubt, my family and friends are my greatest motivators. I’ve witnessed my parents work tirelessly to provide my siblings and me with an incredible life, and every day, I strive to repay their immeasurable kindness. Additionally, I surround myself with ambitious, intelligent, and adventurous friends who share a common goal: to work diligently for everything we aspire to achieve.
