Angie Murphy

I’m Angie Murphy, a proud member of The Jim Allen Group and a Raleigh native with over 22 years of experience in the building industry. My background in general contracting, home design, and marketing gives me a unique perspective—and a real advantage—for clients navigating everything from luxury listings and new construction to relocation.

As a licensed General Contractor and certified Design Professional (DC Pro), I understand homes from the inside out. Whether I’m helping someone build from the ground up or preparing a high-end property for the market, I bring a designer’s eye and a strategic mindset to every step of the process. My passion is making sure each client feels confident, cared for, and ultimately thrilled with the outcome.

I’ve been honored with multiple MAME Awards for marketing, model homes, design studios, and websites, and I currently serve on the Triangle Sales & Marketing Committee (TSMC). But more than the accolades, what matters most to me is delivering exceptional service that reflects my client’s goals and vision.

In 2025, I officially joined The Jim Allen Group, bringing with me the foundation of a career spent helping people build—not just homes—but lives they love. I’m also the founder of Build the Life, a personal passion project focused on intentional living, design, and creativity.

Outside of real estate, I live in Raleigh with my husband, Al, a gifted artist whose work spans everything from intimate pieces to large-scale street art and upcycled originals that have found homes around the world. We love staying close to family and heading to Atlantic Beach in our camper whenever we can to recharge by the coast.
