What Does Being a Part of The Jim Allen Group Mean to You?
I think it’s a chance to take my career as a real estate agent to the next level. I am lucky to have the ability to work much closer with builders through Jim and the JAG team, and I get a chance to learn from the #1 team in the Triangle about selling and buying luxury homes.
How Long Have You Called North Carolina Home?
I’ve lived in Florida for a few years, and I’m originally from South Carolina, but I’ve raised my children here, made my career here, and called it home ever since.
If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?
Travel. I don’t like to fly, so I would see the US and anywhere I could drive or take train to. Honestly, I like to work, and I love what I do. Even if I could, I would never stop working in real estate.
What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?
It’s so hard to pick one. We’re in such a great spot in Raleigh, where there are almost too many good options. I really like Vinnie’s Steakhouse and Tavern, Winston’s Grille, The Oak… anything in North Hills. There’s just so many great places to eat.
How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?
Happy – I have friends, health, family… I wake up every morning. I have so much to be happy about. I have a wonderful life.
Asheville or Wilmington?
Wilmington. I don’t like the heights and I don’t like driving in the mountains. If I had to choose between the two, I would pick right here in Raleigh. You have everything you could ever want here, and easy access to both the mountains and the beach anytime you want.
What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?
The SPCA and St. Jude’s. I’ve also volunteered for several years with the Special Olympics.
Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?
My family. I have four grandchildren, and I love them all.
