What Does Being a Part of The Jim Allen Group Mean to You?
We are the area leader in not only listings but in the new construction luxury market. It is exciting to see new neighborhoods come to life and to be a part of the team that is instrumental in shaping the future of Raleigh and surrounding areas.
How Long Have You Called North Carolina Home?
17 years plus 3 years when I was stationed at Seymour Johnson in the late 90s
If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?
Easy – TRAVEL! I don’t think I could quit working altogether but definitely less. On my travel bucket list – Greece, Banff Canada, China, Australia, to name a few!
What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?
Whew, this is hard because I have a bunch of places that I really like. If I’m in Raleigh, it’s either Centro (Mexican) or Taverna Agora (Greek). In Durham, both Nana’s (steakhouse) and Counting House (Hip American) are pretty fabulous. You have to check out the bathrooms in the Counting House – it’s an experience.
How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?
Adventurous – as I say, “if it doesn’t make me question my life choices, is it even worth doing?”
Asheville or Wilmington?
Wilmington – I’m a beach kinda gal! I love to just float down the shore or snorkel when I can.
What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?
Girls Scouts is near and dear to my heart. Some of my fondest memories as a child were from when I was in Girl Scouts. (I’m still in touch with my leader) If I really think about, Girl Scouts is what fostered my love adventure. When my girls were old enough for Girl Scouts, I volunteered for everything and eventually became a leader myself. As a leader, it was my privilege to work with many girls over the years and watch them grow into strong, independent young ladies.
Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?
My husband, Rob. My girls Adriana & Cora and our two cats, Pepper & Cheddar
