What Does Being a Part of The Jim Allen Group Mean to You?
Mary Ann: We love working with the Jim Allen Group! Wayne and I work with our youngest son, Carl, at the Jim Allen Group We enjoy the people and the opportunities to help people.
Wayne: It is awesome to be part of the best. The knowledge and friendliness of the staff and other agents is unmatched and no one cares as much as Jim.

Mary Ann: 37 years!

If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?
Mary Ann: I would spend more time with our family and time at the beach.
Wayne: We would spend more time at the beach.
What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?
Mary Ann: We don’t eat out much, we just eat at home …but come on over!
Wayne: Don’t eat out enough to have a favorite
How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?
Mary Ann: Wayne says I’m Awesome! So I assume he knows best!!
Wayne: Oh Lord its hard to be humble!
Asheville or Wilmington?
Mary Ann: Wilmington!!! We both love the beach!!
Wayne: Have always been a beach person, grew up 3 blocks from the Chesapeake Bay, lived on the 18th floor on the north side of Puerto Rico for 3 years so it would have to be Wilmington.
What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?
Mary Ann: We spent a lot of time and money at Hayes Barton United Methodist church. We began spending less time there when covid shut things down and I had a heart attack. We have not gotten back to it on a regular basis.
Wayne: Since Covid and moving I do not yet have a favorite cause or organization.
Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?
Mary Ann: First of all it’s my husband, Wayne! We’ve been married almost 51 years. Next, it is our children and grandchildren! We have 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. They are the light of our life!
Wayne: Mary Ann and I have been married 50 years. We have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. They are the people that are most important to me.
