Nicole Mengel – Executive Assistant
Nicole Mengel joined The Jim Allen Group in 2019 as an Executive Assistant, bringing more than 20 years of experience supporting senior-level executives at respected financial institutions, including Credit Suisse First Boston, Morgan Stanley, and UBS. Her background also includes a year spent in Japan teaching English to elementary and middle school students, reflecting her adaptability and global perspective.
Professional Achievements and Involvement
Nicole is a commissioned Notary Public for the State of North Carolina and approaches her role with a strong commitment to accuracy, integrity, and professionalism. Outside of work, she is actively involved with Blood Cancer United (formerly LLS), fundraising to support research and advocacy efforts for blood cancer patients and families.
Personal Interests
A North Carolina resident since 2016, Nicole enjoys spending time at the coast, with Corolla in the Outer Banks holding a special place as her favorite getaway. She values traveling, volunteering with causes close to her heart, and spending quality time with her family. Even though Nicole is now an NC resident, she is still a New Yorker at heart and is an avid New York Jets and New York Yankees fan. Nicole is deeply committed to supporting the people and communities she cares about.

If you had unlimited time and resources, how would you spend your days?
“If I had unlimited time and resources, I would spend all of my time traveling with my children and volunteering with organizations dear to my heart. I also love to shop!”
What’s your favorite local restaurant?
“Our favorite family restaurant is Mizu — my kids love the hibachi, and I love the sushi.”
How would you describe yourself in one word, and why?
“Loyal!! I love my family and my friends and will always support them in any way I can.”
Would you prefer to hang out in Asheville or Wilmington?
“Wilmington — the beach will always be my happy place.”
