If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?

Embracing the beach bum lifestyle sounds like a dream come true! I would move to the beach and enjoy sunrises and sunsets, and also travel to some of my bucket list places like Greece, Italy, Rome – anywhere that has beautiful beaches!

I have a dream to open a B&B on an island somewhere and offer an experience unparallel to anywhere else! So I would probably still work – I am not one to just be still for too long!

What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?

I have so many! I am a foodie at heart – I love to eat anything adventurous and love good food! Love to travel to food events! I also love to cook, so I am always trying new recipes! If I had to narrow my favorites places to eat, I would probably vote Stanbury in Raleigh – they have an ever-changing menu and always something fun and different! My favorite thing on their menu is the Bone Marrow with Toast App! It’s like eating beef flavored butter!

How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?

Neither – I prefer Atlantic Beach and Beaufort area. It is much more laid back and relaxing for me!

What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?

Anything that helps lost and sick animals. Animals are so trusting and we are their whole world. So anytime I can help, I do.

Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?

At the heart of my world is my family and my friends like family, the cornerstone of my motivation. Together with my husband of over three decades, we’ve raised two wonderful children into adulthood and share our home with two spirited chihuahua mixes and we also have a few chickens!
