How Long Have You Called North Carolina Home?
I was born and raised right here in Raleigh, North Carolina, and it’s always been home for me. I’ve had the chance to experience different parts of the state, but Raleigh is where my roots are, and it’s where I’ve built my career.
If You Had Unlimited Time and Resources, How Would You Spend Your Days?
If time and money weren’t a concern, I’d still want to make an impact through real estate, but I’d balance it with more time for personal growth, travel, and giving back. I’d love to see more of the world, meet people from different backgrounds, and learn from their perspectives. I’d also invest in creating opportunities for others, especially in financial literacy and homeownership, to help people build their futures. My days would be spent expanding my knowledge, connecting with others, and inspiring people to reach their own potential.
What’s Your Favorite Local Restaurant?
My favorite restaurant right now is Azitra. The atmosphere is upscale yet inviting, making it a perfect spot for a dinner date or a night out. If you’re visiting Raleigh, I’d definitely recommend trying their Tikka Masala—it’s rich, flavorful, and really captures the best of Indian cuisine. Azitra is a great way to experience something unique and memorable in Raleigh!
How Would You Describe Yourself in One Word, and Why?
Resilient. I’ve faced challenges in my career and life that pushed me to grow and adapt, and each one has only strengthened my determination to keep going. Whether it’s working in real estate, learning new skills, or reaching personal goals, resilience has been the key to staying focused and moving forward, no matter what.
Asheville or Wilmington?
Wilmington. I love the beach vibe and the laid-back coastal atmosphere, which is perfect for unwinding. Being by the ocean is always relaxing, and Wilmington has a great mix of local spots and scenic views. Whether it’s a walk on the beach or exploring the historic downtown, there’s something about Wilmington that just feels refreshing and close to home.
What Causes/Charities Do You Care About?
I care deeply about financial literacy and empowering people to create better futures for themselves. I believe everyone deserves access to the knowledge and tools that lead to financial independence and stability, so I’d love to support or be involved in programs that focus on educating youth and underserved communities about managing money and building wealth. Additionally, as a dog owner, I’m passionate about animal welfare and would support local shelters and rescues to help ensure animals find good homes and proper care.
Who are the People (and Pets) that Keep You Motivated?
I’ve been surrounded by a village of support here in Raleigh, North Carolina, with family, friends, and mentors who constantly remind me to #keepgoing. Growing up with entrepreneurial parents instilled a natural drive to succeed, and joining the Jim Allen team has only amplified that motivation. Jim, along with my father, has shown me the importance of owning my journey and the power of my choices. My French Bulldog, Scoob, is my constant companion, keeping me active and light-hearted. Thanks to everyone in my life, I’m motivated every day to keep pushing forward.
