What does being part of the Jim Allen Group mean to you?
Being part of the Jim Allen Group means having unmatched support, shared expertise, and proven systems behind every transaction. New construction—especially custom homes—comes with complexities most agents don’t encounter regularly. At JAG, there is always someone with experience who has seen it before and knows how to handle it. How long have you called North Carolina home?
Eight years—and counting. Moving here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
If you had unlimited time and resources, how would you spend your days?
At the beach. No question. That said, I don’t see myself retiring anytime soon. I genuinely love what I do and the people I work with. Helping clients achieve their goals—and handing them the keys to their next chapter—is incredibly rewarding.
Favorite local restaurant?
42nd Street Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill. Always raw oysters or oyster shooters—never steamed, fried, or Rockefeller. Ever.
One word to describe yourself—and why?
Tenacious. When I commit to a goal, I don’t quit until it’s done.
Asheville or Wilmington?
Wilmington—without hesitation. I love the ocean, the sand, and the coast. I also have a very serious seashell collection to prove it.
What causes or charities do you care about?
Pet rescue organizations. All of my pets have been rescues, and I’ve volunteered in animal shelters. It’s deeply rewarding work—even when it’s emotionally tough.
Who keeps you motivated?
My children, Jeremy and Kristina, who live here in North Carolina, and my grandchildren—who were a big reason I left Ohio. I’ve also found my forever partner here, someone who supports my goals and keeps me moving forward. They all give me that extra push when I need it most.
We are closing on our newly built Davidson home Monday and are beyond excited!
