Town Highlight: Morrisville

Morrisville is a quickly expanding suburb, located in the northwest area of the Raleigh-Durham metro area. In 2021, Morrisville was ranked by Niche as the Best Place to Live In North Carolina. Its close proximity to the Research Triangle Park campus, top-rated schools, and endless things to do are all reasons why many people choose to call Morrisville home.

Morrisville shares middle schools and high schools with neighboring Cary, which are also rated very highly year after year.

One unique activity for the entire family is visiting the RDU Observation Park, with a 10,000 foot runway for plane watching and listening to communications between the pilots and air traffic control. Lake Crabtree County Park is a great spot for a stroll, as the park is home to a 6-mile loop around Lake Crabtree, along with volleyball courts, picnic areas and boat launches for kayaks and paddleboards.
