The Jim Allen Group earns honors from NCHBA Stars Awards

It’s always an honor to be recognized by the people who understand your work the most: your own industry peers. It’s why the North Carolina Home Builders Association’s annual STARS Awards program is an anticipated event each year. One exciting thing to note is that the event, held on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, moved from its previous location in Concord, NC to the Triangle for the first time, at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in the Research Triangle Park. Most importantly, this event celebrates the craftsmanship, dedication, and creative excellence found across North Carolina’s home-building community. It’s why The Jim Allen Group is proud to have walked away with a few honors of our own from the NCHBA Stars Awards Gala.

For our team, these honors mean more than a trophy or a line on a résumé. They represent the decades of work we’ve done to support our exceptional builders, create thoughtful partnerships, and help families find places they truly love to call home. The STARS Awards shine a light on the people and companies who elevate our industry. The privilege of being among them is something we never take for granted.

Thank you to the NCHBA for honoring us with the following awards this year.

The Jim Allen Group was honored at the NCHBA Stars Awards for the Best Website or App for the 2024 Parade of Homes website and app for our Adventures in Finding Your Home event. We developed a Parade-specific website to bring visitors to the more than 60 homes from JAG’s builder partners.

We also developed an app for the first time in our Parade history, which provided even more ways for visitors to engage with the event. Anyone who downloaded the JAG Parade app could earn from over $20,000 in prizes, including a chance to win an adventure trip for four to Asheville. Plus, The Jim Allen Group promised to donate $5 — up to $2,000 — to Wake Tech Foundation for every app download, and to double the donation to $4,000 if one JAG Parade home sold during the event.

We proudly carried forward our award-winning digital tactics, including both the website and app, for the 2025 Triangle Parade of Homes event.

In addition to our digital content from the 2024 Parade of Homes, we received honors during the NCHBA Stars Awards for Best Marketing Campaign for the full 2024 Parade of Homes Adventures in Finding Your Home campaign. Our efforts to create new, exciting ways to tour and to encourage visitors to participate resulted in a massive amount of success for JAG.

Once we crunched the numbers, we had thousands of visitors from across the Triangle and Tri-County areas. We gave away over $20,000 in prizes, including our Grand Prize winner, as well as Parade swag. We also sold more than 20 of the 60+ homes on tour during the event, which meant we donated $4,000 to Wake Tech Foundation. Finally, we also used the tour to raise money and match funds to aid in Western North Carolina’s relief efforts.

We are thrilled to say that we developed an award-winning campaign that also touched the lives of so many.

The Jim Allen Group received the Best Video Project for our 2025 MAME video, titled “Who We Are.” The Major Achievements in Marketing and Excellence (MAME) Awards is an annual event hosted by the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council (TSMC), a part of the Homebuilders Associations of Raleigh-Wake County and Durham, Orange, & Chatham Counties. MAME honors the work of industry professionals within the greater Triangle area.

The “Who We Are” video highlights the many accolades we hold. For years, we’ve held the title of the #1 mega team in North Carolina, the #1 Coldwell Banker team in North Carolina and the United States, among others. We have more than 80 agents with hundreds of years of experience combined. In addition, we partner with numerous builders and over 100 new home communities. And, we have an award-winning marketing team and countless services under one roof. The list goes on.

We are grateful that the NCHBA Stars Awards judges recognized the talent available as one team at The Jim Allen Group and honored us for the video and all it represents.

As we reflect on this year’s STARS Awards, what stands out most isn’t the trophies themselves. It’s what they represent. Each recognition is a tribute to the talent, creativity, and tireless dedication of our team, our builder partners, and the countless professionals who make North Carolina’s home-building industry one of the strongest in the country. These awards honor the collaboration behind every home we help bring to life. And they are a reminder of every family we have the privilege to serve.

We are deeply grateful to the North Carolina Home Builders Association for recognizing our work. And we are grateful to our community of partners and clients who make achievements like this possible. The Jim Allen Group will always strive to raise the bar, explore new ideas, and serve the greater Triangle area with the passion and integrity that define who we are.
