10 Triangle tech companies you want to work for
North Carolina is booming in the world of tech. Those who have called the Triangle home for many years are fully aware that Raleigh-Durham has been a growing hub for research and innovation since the 1960s. Thanks to the 7,000-acre research and innovation center known as the Research Triangle Park, or RTP, major tech and healthcare companies have long known that the area is essentially the Silicon Valley of the East Coast.
Hundreds of global companies—including SAS, Red Hat, IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline, and Toshiba—have both drawn and kept talent in the Triangle. And while giants like Apple and Google are still new players within the area, they have long had a name for being outstanding companies with incredible benefits. Yet, smaller tech companies and startups similarly offer great benefits and the type of culture where employees thrive.
