Make plans for the 2024 Triangle Parade of Homes
The annual Parade of Homes is returning to Raleigh-Durham at the end of September. As it enters its 59th year, the event has begun to bounce back from its pre-pandemic numbers. With more builders, homes, and communities to tour this year, the 2024 Triangle Parade of Homes is expected to give people even more reasons to attend this year.
The Parade event has been rebuilding since COVID-19 slowed new construction due to supply chain and labor issues, prevented in-person tours, and drove demand for housing in the Triangle. While the 2023 Parade of Home showcased 89 builders across 185 homes in 124 communities, this year’s event is one of the largest in the area’s history. The event will feature 243 homes in 165 communities from 100 builders across Wake, Durham, Chatham, and Orange Counties.
The Triangle Parade of Homes takes place Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29; Friday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 6; and Friday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 13 from 12 to 5 p.m., while the Tri-county Parade is Saturday, Sept. 28, Sunday, Sept. 29, Saturday, Oct. 5, Sunday, Oct. 6, Saturday, Oct. 12 and Sunday, Oct. 13. Visitors can tour everything from a townhome priced from $275,000 to luxury homes with a $4 million price tag. Here’s what else you should know about this Parade of Homes event.
See the hot new trends in building and design
Each year, Parade homes showcase the most modern designs and building trends in the market. With more homes available to tour this year, Parade-goers can expect to find what’s hot in 2024. It may even show what 2025 might bring. This year, open floor plans, clean lines, modern design, bold accent walls, and earthy tones will be front and center. Yet you might see some new surprises, too.
Whether you’re looking to purchase a new home or just keeping an eye on the trends to inspire your next home project, the 2024 Triangle Parade of Homes is the place to start. From home interior designs to new tech ideas to what to do with a spare bedroom, you’ll find all the inspiration you need.

The Jim Allen Group will have over 60 homes available to tour in the 2024 Triangle and Tri-County Parade of Homes. JAG is featuring homes within Raleigh and Wake Forest to growing communities across the Triangle, such as Zebulon, Rolesville, Franklinton, and Mebane. These homes are built by some of the Triangle’s top builders, with price ranges from the $300s to $3.6 million.

JAG is also focusing on giving back to our community during the Parade again this year. The Wake Tech Foundation is an organization that changes lives by supporting education at Wake Tech Community College. Wake Tech is where many skilled tradesmen and women learn valuable skills to continue building our communities. JAG will donate $5 for every app download up to $2,000. If one of their Parade homes sells during the event, JAG will double their donation to $4,000. The more homes toured, the more we give back to this outstanding, community-focused organization.
Be sure to download JAG’s Parade app for Apple and Android phones to register and get additional details about the full event.
